Mumford & Sons To Release Concert Film
Mumford & Sons reveal “Road to Red Rocks” concert film. The film follows the band’s “The Gentleman Tour” which culminated at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO.
Their latest video “I Will Wait” is footage from the Red Rocks show. The concert will not be in theaters, but will go to DVD. It will be released in Europe, Australia and New Zealand at the end of November. January 22, 2013 is the release date for the US and Canada.

Coldplay Unveil Interactive Ebook
Coldplay also has a concert flim, though theirs will be hitting theaters first. Live 2012 will be in theaters one night only, November 13. The CD/DVD will hit shelves on November 19.
Along with the movie, Coldplay is releasing Mylo Xyloto Live. It is a audio-visual companion piece to the film available through iTunes for iPhones, iPods, and iPads. The book includes interviews with the band, as well as behind-the-scenes footage and photos. Available November 19, you can pre-order it now.

Today marks the ten year anniversary of the death of Run DMC’s Jam Master Jay. He was shot in the head at his 24/7 studio in the Jamaica burrough of Queens, NY.

Taylor Swift to Co-Host Grammy Nominations Show
Taylor Swift is joining LL Cool J in hosting the annual The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!-Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night show. Previously, LL Cool J had hosted the show solo since the show began in 2008.
Luke Bryan also also been revealed as a performer. Maroon 5 is the only other act that has been announced.
The show airs lives on CBS from 10-11 PM EST on December 5.
Michael Jackson Doc to Air at Thanksgiving
Spike Lee’s documentary, Bad 25,will air on ABC on November 22 at 9:30 PM.
It will follow a theatrical run on October 19 in New York and October 26 in Los Angeles.

Last night, The Killers performed on The Colbert Report. Instead of singing a track from their latest CD, Battle Born, the band chose a track from their debut CD.

Black Keys to Release Tour EP
The Black Keys will be releasing Tour Rehearsal Tapes today. It will only be available via iTunes for the first two weeks.
The EP features six songs that were recorded live in the studio last December. The track listing is:

Elvis Live From Madison Square Garden
No, it’s not Hologram Elvis. It’s the real thing via a fan’s video from a 1972 performance at Madison Square Garden.
The video is from Prince From Another Planet: 40th Anniversary Edition, which is comprised of a DVD and two CDs. It is being released today.

Grohl: “I’m not sure when the Foo Fighters are going to play again.”
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl took to Facebook to confirm comments he made over the weekend. The band is indeed going on hiatus for a undetermined amount of time.

Recently, Swift decided to release certain tracks from her upcoming album, Red.Yesterday, she premiered a clip on Good Morning America. Today the track is available for purchase on iTunes. A lyric video is also available.
Red hits shelves on October 22.
Global Citizen Wants You To Go to Concerts Free
Global Citizen is an organization that hopes to use action to get people involved. By participating in actions such as watching a video, sharing a story, or volunteering, one can earn points. The points can be redeemed for prizes, such as concert tickets. Over the weekend, people were able to attend the Global Festival, headlined by the Foo Fighters, by redeeming points.

Axl Rose to Be On Jimmy Kimmel Live
Axl Rose has agreed to be interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel. The interview is to promote Guns N’ Roses shows at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Appetite for Democracy will begin it’s 12 show run on Halloween and ends November 24th.
The interview will be filmed on October 24th and then air on it’s normal one hour tape delay.
Grohl’s Comments Spur Speculation
Dave Grohl’s recent comments have spurred speculation that the Foo Fighters are either breaking up or going on hiatus.
During the band’s show on Saturday night, Grohl said. “Without making a big deal out of it, we don’t have any shows after this. This is it, man. Honestly I don’t know when we’re gonna do it again … and this is the perfect place to do it.”
Back in August, he made similar comments while at the Reading Festival. The frontman later clarified that he meant a tour in England.
