Christy Angeletti Going for Adds Now

Howard Rosen Promotion (www.howiewood.com) artist Christy Angeletti is going for adds now.

Christy Angeletti is a cutting-edge singer/songwriter whose beauty and magnetism are only surpassed by her amazing sense of connection to the human experience and her ability to express it in song. A charismatic mix of insightfulness and hippie-chic sensitivity, enhanced by a whimsical yet kickass attitude, Christy Angeletti’s writing articulates the sensibilities of the generation through her perspective. Themes of grace and strength radiate throughout her music.

There is nothing in this world that makes me happier than my songwriting. I love to record songs that evoke the feelings of strength and love, or even express sadness. I love to sing and write songs that have a little attitude and tell things how they are.

Truly dedicated to her craft, Christy Angeletti, the passionate artist, is continuously cultivating; tirelessly singing and writing, creating with heart and soul. Everything leads you to where you are now and everything now will lead me to where I’m going. It’s performing and singing that drives me to a place of which I cannot get enough. Chad Price Impacting Radio Now

Howard Rosen Promotion (www.howiewood.com) artist Chad Price is impacting radio now with Another Day.

The twenty-five year old singer-songwriter has made the adult contemporary genre his own by adding a heavy dose of soul. I just want to make music that’s honest and real, explains Chad.

The album showcases a blending of Chad’s early musical influences including elements of acoustic soul, pop-rock, country, and coffeehouse folk. I loved the process of seeing these quiet, simple acoustic songs that I wrote mainly in a tiny University dorm room transform into these dynamic and animated musical creations in the studio, explains Chad. Although there is something to be said about playing the songs on the album acoustically as well, I love the power and the presence of the music with the full band on the record. The songs feel like a finished statement now and in the end, it’s a loud, energetic and charismatic album that I believe people will really appreciate.

Aaron Orbit Going for Adds on October 15

Howard Rosen Promotion (www.howiewood.com) artist Aaron Orbit is going for official adds on October 15.

Aaron Orbit was born and raised as Aaron Johnson in the Southern California beachside city of Ventura. As the son of an accomplished musician and recording engineer, Orbit, was infatuated with music at an early age and began learning guitar in elementary school. Not long after he formed his first band, Psycho Café, which found the young front man splitting homework time with gigs on the Sunset Strip. Though his first love was the guitar, Orbit, after being pushed by his band mates, found out that he was a natural as a singer as well.

Orbit soon found that this new batch of songs, which at first seemed to have no connection to each other genre wise, actually did belong together, emotionally and artistically.Orbit hit Satellite Studios in Ventura at the beginning of 2012 with a rotating backup band that featured a who’s who of members of the Ventura County music scene. Orbit selected different players to compliment specific songs eventually having over 20 different musicians on the record. The result is Orbit’s Sunday Morning Murder Songs, a tour de force of a debut that is alternative in the truest sense of the word.Throughout the 12 track record, songs range from the hook filled 80’s era Michael Jackson rock of Must’ve Been to the spaced out dramatics of the Bowie worthy Fire on the Run to the deeply moving Waiting For Signs, a ballad that would feel at home on an Elliot Smith record. The diverse songs all have one thing in common though, exceptional songwriting.

Honor Society Impacts Radio on October 15

Howard Rosen Promotion (www.howiewood.com) artist Honor Society is impacting radio on October 15 with Serendipity.

Fueled by a mutual interest in the pop music of the 80’s, Honor Society began when singer/guitarist Michael Bruno reconnected with his high school friend, keyboardist/guitarist Jason Rosen, after graduating NYU. The two immersed themselves into the project, placing a premium on song writing and musicianship. The additions of bassist, Andrew Lee Schmidt, and drummer, Alexander Noyes, only reinforced their vision and the band quickly garnered attention – landing them a deal with Hollywood Records.

Their major label debut, Fashionably Late, exploded to #18 on the Billboard Top 200 and the music world took note. Rolling Stone named them a breakout band. MTV Buzzworthy dubbed the band One to Watch. The buzz was palpable and Honor Society spent the remainder of that year and the next on tour with the likes of Timbaland, Jonas Brothers, Jordin Sparks, The Fray and Neon Trees.

Now, the next chapter sits on the horizon and Honor Society holds all the cards: A new EP, with arena-ready anthems, a charged live show to match, and a sharper focus on what made the band so special in the first place – the music. “We feel like this music is a natural progression for us,” says lead singer/guitarist Michael Bruno, “it’s a step in a new, more refined direction that both old and new fans can connect with.

With so much talent and personality it’s hard to believe this up and coming hip hop artist is only 15 years old. Born in Toronto and raised in the Lawrence Heights community, Deshaun Clarke is bringing some serious sounds to the table. Armed with a technical dance training background and the ability to pump out songs with mature lyrical ease, Deshaun is reminding us you can never be too young to do it all.

His new and soon to be hit record Tell ˜Em featuring Cosmo, has all the makings for success. This new single has a pop, hip hop sound with bounce, swag and energy just like Deshaun himself. The beat is contemporary, his lyrics are fun and interesting. Deshauns’s musical influences have all had their part in building this current sensation, I am a Hip hop/RnB artist. I can hear myself sounding like Big Sean, Chris Brown and Drake. Big Sean for his flow and lyrics, Chris Brown for his singing and dancing, and Drake for his story telling and love of music. I’m also a technically trained dancer so I bring a whole heap of versatility to the rap game comments Deshaun. The song also features a new dance called North Step which is quickly becoming a new trend.
