Justice Impacting CHR/Hot AC Radio

Howard Rosen Promotion (www.howiewood.com) artist Justice is impacting CHR/Hot AC radio with By My Side.

By My Side is JUSTICE’s second US release. In additional to perfectly capturing her fun loving spirit, it reflects her continued collaboration with record producer and co-songwriter Jean-Michel Soupraya. Justice is a down to earth, real girl, says Soupraya, She’s roots. She’s also a fresh new talent. Our goal with this single was to merge the traditional with the new pop sound, and, of coarse, to make people move¦and smile.

With a line up of singles ready to launch in 2013, you can expect much more from JUSTICE. I love to write lyric and melody. Every song is different; sometimes we’re putting together our old ideas and putting a new twist on it, other times we’re writing something fresh and new from scratch. Either way, everything you’re going to hear on the EP is a hundred percent JUSTICE, completely representative of me “ of who I am as an artist and as a person. It’s so important to me to be authentic, to keep it real. If you can’t wait for the EP, you can get a preview of what’s to come by catching one of her live performances.

Arthur Funkarelli Impacting CHR/Hot AC Now

Howard Rosen Promotion (www.howiewood.com) artist Arthur Funkarelli is impacting CHR/Hot AC radio with Waves.

Arthur Funkarelli throws down a high octane blend of rock, soul and ska. Always danceable.

Arthur Funkarelli is on a mission. Five young, but able veterans who’ll stop at nothing, not even police roadblocks, to bring the truth to the masses. It’s all right to be a little scared, but be ready. Real music for real people is the goal and you are the target audience. We are not part of a retro trend. We are not prog-rockers out to conquer space and time. We are not pretty-boy industry darlings. We are the sum of our influences and the product of thousands of road miles. The bastard sons of rock and roll still live. A raucous double guitar attack, soulful and commanding dueling vocalists, and a virtuoso saxophonist are our calling cards. Prodigious stage presence, deep musical knowledge, a punk rock ethos, and unsurpassed dedication to “the show” are our constants.

Uncharted Shores Impacting CHR/Hot AC Radio

Howard Rosen Promotion (www.howiewood.com) artist Uncharted Shores are impacting CHR/Hot AC radio with Who I Am.

In 2009, while still in high school, Sean O’Leary founded the group. Releasing a five-song demo around his school, the budding songwriter started to turn heads immediately. He tapped his classmate Scott Nagareda to play bass, and they began gigging locally under their original moniker, One Direction. Even though they independently released their full-length debut, The Light (which reached #48 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart) in 2011, the first couple of years were far from easy and breezy for what would become Uncharted Shores.
Early last year we were drawn into a high profile legal dispute with a British Boy band, O’Leary says. We reformed and regrouped, and are pushing forward harder than ever. Through that process, the band washed upon a new field. It’s uncharted and we’re ready to map it out as we go along.

Colette Carr

Howard Rosen Promotion bringing you something we stumbled upon and liked enough to tell you about. Colette Carr is going for adds this week at CMJ. “Why Are You Leaving” featuring Kev Nish of FAR EAST MOVEMENT (written and produced by Colette Carr and Martin Kierszenbaum AKA Cherry Cherry Boom Boom property of Colette Carr Music and Cherrytree Records/Interscope)

Colette is a true maverick on every level, from her cagey lyrics to her unconventional fashion. While her music is lyrically edgy-her lifestyle is one that all parents would be proud of. The young singer/MC brings a new touch of singular freshness in the music world. A great job for a girl with only one goal: have fun and spread joy all around her. Malibu is where Carr grew up but it seems like outer space might be her more natural habitat. It’s hard to guess where Colette Carr will go next thematically but provoking and unexpected seem like a good predictions. “Back eeeeet up” and stay tuned.

Howard Rosen Promotion (www.howiewood.com) artist The Air Station is currently impacting CHR/Hot AC radio with The Fire.

The founding principles of hard work and dedication coupled with honest songwriting and entertaining live performance, which were the qualities that continued to propel hot vegas to new heights over the span of the band, are still the fundamentals The Air Station is based upon. Though The Air Station may be on the same journey that they set out on several years ago when hot vegas began, they now have a new vehicle, and it is one that is capable of taking them higher and farther than ever before.

Eric Dill Impacting CHR/Hot AC Radio

Howard Rosen Promotion (www.howiewood.com) artist Eric Dill is impacting CHR/Hot AC radio with In My Head.

Eric is the former frontman of The Click Five and also the co-writer of Daughtry’s smash hit, No Surprise.I’m not interested in chasing what’s ˜hot’ and the formula of the week in Top 40 music, Dill says. I want to create many great flavors that will attract people to be compelled to listen, whether it’s me alone and acoustic or me in full production. I feel I have music strong enough to share and the best way I can do it is my own way.

So in late 2012, the platinum-certified, award-winning artist and singer-songwriter relocated to his native Indianapolis from Hollywood and released his Forever Is Not Enough album on his own Vigil Records. Both milestones signal the next chapters in Dill’s life. His album, in particular, is an artistic tour-de-force, a cohesive collection of tunes that are sonically and thematically divergent but combine for a rousing aural adventure.
